NBA 2K15 agrees with the Suns.
Their backcourt is their strongest position.
The newest version of the NBA 2K series revealed its player rankings in agonizingly segmented fashion. With all but 30 players revealed, it appears all of Phoenix’s players are accounted for.
Goran Dragic – the reigning Most Improved Player and Third-Team All-NBA-er – is the highest-ranking Suns player with an overall rating of 84 in the forthcoming video game. Eric Bledsoe comes next at 81, and newcomer Isaiah Thomas is right behind him with a rating of 80.
We’re not sure how Dragic is rated the same as Deron Williams. Ditto for Bledsoe losing one point to Kemba Walker. And Isaiah Thomas being ranked the same as Brandon Jennings is nothing short of head-scratching.
Still, the game and its ratings offer Suns users the same thrill the real team will experience this season: what happens when opponents’ backup guards meet Phoenix’s?
Our guess: lots and lots of good things for the Suns.
