Pelicans Announce NBA Summer League 2017 Roster and Mini-Camp Schedule

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans today announced its roster for the NBA Summer League 2017 in Las Vegas.

The Pelicans will hold a mini-camp from July 3-6 at the team’s practice facility in Metairie, La., with media availability following the morning sessions. Assistant Coach Jamelle McMillan will serve as head coach of the Pelicans Summer League team.

New Orleans begins NBA Summer League 2017 on July 7 with the league kick-off matchup against the Toronto Raptors, followed by games against the Atlanta Hawks on July 9 and the Brooklyn Nets on July 10 before beginning the single-elimination tournament. New Orleans’ matchups against Toronto and Atlanta will be broadcast live on NBA TV, while their third game against Brooklyn will air on ESPNU. All teams are guaranteed to play a minimum of five games. Teams will be seeded following the preliminary round, with the top eight seeds receiving a first-round bye.

ESPN will present all 67 games from Las Vegas across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and the ESPN App, including 35 on its linear television channels. NBA TV will air 28 games. In total, 63 games from Las Vegas will air across ESPN and NBA TV’s linear channels – a Summer League record.
