Five things to know about the Pelicans on Oct. 19, 2016

1)      New Orleans lost 96-89 to Atlanta last night, in the Pelicans’ second-to-last preseason game.

2)      The night started in rough fashion, with Alvin Gentry sidelined by a stomach illness. Darren Erman filled in as head coach. Watch his postgame meeting with media.

3)      Terrence Jones was a bright spot for New Orleans in his return from injury, scoring 18 points.

4)      The Pelicans will practice today in Orlando. Check Pelicans.com later today for coverage. New Orleans and Orlando wrap up preseason Thursday (6 p.m. Central, WRNO 99.5 FM) at Amway Center.
