Hornets open Summer League slate July 11

By: Jim Eichenhofer, Hornets.comJulian Wright and Hilton Armstrong will headline the Hornets’ summer-league roster when New Orleans opens play in Las Vegas on Friday, July 11 vs. the Memphis Grizzlies. Tip-off is 5 p.m. Central (3 p.m. local time in Nevada).We’re expecting to have the club's summer roster finalized soon. When that’s completed, we will have the entire list here on Hornets.com with some more bio information on participants. The squad will also include 2007 second-round pick Adam Haluska, who played in the D-League after being traded in February to Houston.NBA.com is expected to broadcast every NBA Summer League game online again this year. Unfortunately, the Hornets were shut out of NBA TV’s televised game coverage in 2007.
