Tyreke Evans plays vs. Pistons

After receiving an initial timetable of being potentially sidelined for one to two weeks due to a sprained left ankle, New Orleans Pelicans reserve swingman Tyreke Evans ended up not even missing a single game. Evans, who was injured in Friday’s game vs. Oklahoma City, used the past four days to recuperate and was able to check in to tonight’s game vs. Detroit in the first quarter. The fifth-year NBA veteran has now appeared in all 20 of the team’s regular season games, after he missed six in preseason with the same sprained left ankle injury.
