Denver Nuggets Opening Night Presented by Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children

The Denver Nuggets will open their 2016-17 home schedule against the Portland Trailblazers on Saturday, October 29th at 7pm. In what is sure to be one of the most memorable home-opening games in team history, the Nuggets will honor legendary center Dikembe Mutombo by retiring his #55 jersey to the rafters of Pepsi Center.

To further celebrate this special occasion, the current Nuggets team will wear the iconic “Rainbow Skyline” uniform worn during Mutombo’s rookie season. Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children will also distribute commemorative foam fingers to the first 10,000 fans arriving to attend the game.

For this game only, the Nuggets will offer 4 tickets for just $55 in honor of Dikembe Mutombo. Tickets can be purchased at this special price here:

Opening Night festivities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Pregame address from a current Nuggets player
  • Full team and Coaching staff introductions
  • 10,000 Commemorative Foam Fingers courtesy of Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children
