Nuggets Acquire Two Second Round Picks From Oklahoma City

DENVER, Aug. 30, 2016 – The Denver Nuggets have acquired two second-round picks from the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for F Joffrey Lauvergne, General Manager and Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly announced today.

Lauvergne, the 55th pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, was acquired in a draft-night trade with the Memphis Grizzlies and made his Nuggets and NBA debut late in the 2014-15 season. The France native appeared in 83 games (16 starts) with Denver, averaging 6.7 points and 4.4 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game.

Denver will receive Oklahoma City’s 2017 second-round pick and Memphis’s 2017 second-round pick, which Oklahoma City acquired in a previous trade.
