Denver, CO, March 4, 2015 – Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) announced today that Pepsi Center’s storied Blue Sky Grill will officially be rebranded as the Shock Top Lodge. The new update to the popular restaurant and bar will combine fun, excitement and flavor of Shock Top with the classic Rocky Mountain decor of the original design.
“We’re thrilled to have formed a partnership with Shock Top Brewing Company. We are proud of the partnership and are excited to work with their team to enhance the great restaurant experience at Pepsi Center,” said Tom Philand, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment.
A brand new Shock Top inspired menu will also accompany the design changes. Joe Sinopoli, Executive chef said, “We are excited to release the new menu creatively inspired by the wonderful flavors of Shock Top. While we are keeping tried and true favorites we are excited to enhance the offerings with new dishes like mussels, House smoked hot pastrami sandwich, BBQ Brisket and a six-hour braised lamb shank. “Chef Sinopoli will also be rolling out a brand new dessert menu guaranteed to excite.
“Shock Top is all about living life unfiltered and the former Blue Sky Grill at Pepsi Center provides us a year round destination to reinforce that message in a fun, vibrant setting with great history and a one of a kind ambience,” said Zach Hotz, Brand Manager of Shock Top. “We are excited to work the Pepsi Center to enhance the atmosphere inside the Lodge and to showcase our great lineup of year-round and seasonal beers to the millions of attendees to Pepsi Center.”
Pepsi Center will introduce the newly updated Shock Top Lodge to its patrons with a series of post-game launch parties following the March 4 Avalanche vs Penguin game, March 6 Mammoth vs Rock game, and March 7 Nuggets vs Rockets game. The parties will feature appearances by Shock Top brand ambassadors, Shock Top and team memorabilia prize raffles, and a performance by DJ bedz at the March 7th event. The Shock Top Lodge will remain open for 2 hours after each game for these special post-game parties.
Reservations for the Shock Top Lodge are highly encouraged and can be made up to 120 days in advance. Reservations are accepted up to 4 and 1/2 hours prior to the start of an event (subject to availability). The Shock Top Lodge is also available for private catered events. Seating is available for approximately 260 people in the dining rooms, 90 in the bar and cocktail area, and 110 on the outside patio.
