The NBA is set to host the inaugural NBA Awards show on June 26. In addition to the league’s standard awards (Most Valuable Player, Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year), the NBA has added six new honors that will be decided by fan vote.
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić has been nominated for Best Assist of the Year with a no-look, behind-the-head pass against the Indiana Pacers.

Fans are able to vote for Nikola Jokić starting on April 27 via NBA.com, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Voting will close on June 22. The full list of rules for fan voting can be found here.
