Denver Nuggets chip in for annual Holiday Day of Service

After a good practice at Pepsi Center on Thursday, several Denver Nuggets players went out and spread holiday cheer throughout the community.

Forward Jordan Hamilton and center JaVale McGee teamed up at Volunteers of America in Denver to sort non-perishable items and fill food baskets for families in need.

Forward J.J. Hickson and Quincy Miller visited Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora, where they took part in an arts-and-crafts station with patients and their families.

Guard Evan Fournier and Darrell Arthur helped sort toys and other gifts for families in need at A Precious Child in Broomfield.

The appearances were part Kroenke Sports Enterprises’ annual Holiday Day of Service. KSE staff members rose the occasion and combined to contribute more than 1,150 hours of service at organizations across the metro area.
