Becca is a proud fifth year veteran of the Denver Nuggets Dancers (DND).
“To be a Denver Nuggets Dancer as a fifth year feels incredibly rewarding,” said Becca. “Being a member on this team has been a dream come true and I still feel so blessed to be able to be a part of it after so many years. I still get a rush of excitement every time I hit that court. I will forever cherish the memories and friendships I have made over all of my seasons as a Denver Nuggets Dancer.”
With her positive attitude and hard work-ethic, she has been a prominent leader of the team both on and off the court.
She not only sets an example, but she brings her professional experience and training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hip, and ballroom to the DND.
“My favorite style growing up was surprisingly tap! I found it so much fun to create different sounds to the beat of the music,” said Becca.
Her commitment and dedication to the Nuggets Dancers even earned her a spot on the All-Star Dance Team during NBA All-Star 2016 Weekend. She was hand-picked by her teammates to represent the Denver Nuggets in Toronto, and to take part in various activities all week including charity appearances, court-side choreography and had the unique opportunity of being a back-up dancer for Walk the Moon’s live concert held during All-Star Saturday Night.
Outside her busy dance schedule, Becca is currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education where she hopes to teach kindergartners in the near future. She also likes to spend time with her two cats, Tigger and Franklin, and her dog, Coco.
Becca has already been living out her lifelong dream for the past five years as a Nuggets Dancer, but one day she also dreams of visiting the city of love, Paris.
This romantic knows that time flies, and has learned to appreciate every moment by living by the phrase: "Enjoy the little things in life because one day you will look back and realize they were the big things."
