Brooklyn Nets Hamptons Basketball Camp Powered By DRIBBL Returns For Its Third Year

BROOKLYN (April 18, 2016) – The third annual Brooklyn Nets Hamptons Basketball Camp Powered by DRIBBL will be held this summer. The five-day camp will take place at Southampton Town Recreation Center, 1370A Majors Path in Southampton, from August 29 through September 2.

The camp will be open to youngsters entering the 2016-17 school year from pre-K to eighth grade. Sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for children going into first through eighth grades and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for children entering Pre-K and Kindergarten.

The camp will also include appearances from Nets players. In the past, Nets players Brook Lopez, Jarrett Jack, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, and Chris McCullough have made appearances to help the campers learn the game.

The Nets and DRIBBL, the award-winning New York-based basketball program, will offer campers of all skill-levels personalized instruction from Nets personnel and DRIBBL coaches to develop and refine their basketball ability, while emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork.  All campers will receive two tickets to a Brooklyn Nets game in November. Campers will also receive Nets camp uniforms and merchandise.

“We’re excited to continue the tradition of bringing the Brooklyn Nets to the Hamptons,” said Brett Yormark, CEO of the Brooklyn Nets. “Like our first two years, we expect this camp to sell out quickly. We’ve received enthusiastic feedback about the camp experience and the facility, and are happy to again help campers improve their game in a fun and encouraging environment.”
