Orlando, Fla. – The Orlando Magic will host over 20 basketball camps, designed for boys and girls of all skill levels ages 7-16, across Central Florida this summer. Registration is officially open and limited space is still available for all sessions.

In addition to the 19 day camps, the Magic are hosting an overnight camp from June 29-July 3 at Warner University in Lake Wales, Fla., which includes all meals and housing. Due to popular demand, a one-day “Mini Camp” returns for youth ages 4-8 at the RDV Sportsplex on July 19 from 9 a.m.-Noon, and, for the first time, the TNBA/Magic Academy Challenge comes to the Orlando area with two editions being held July 7-9 and August 4-6 at the Jewish Community Center in Maitland. This intense program, designed for advanced players ages 13-18 and limited to just 30 participants per session, features elite-level training methods and combine-inspired drills.

The Orlando Magic and UnitedHealthcare are providing 100 kids with full scholarships to attend camps. For more information and to apply for a scholarship, visit www.OrlandoMagic.com/CampScholarship . Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis pending availability of preferred camp and proof of need-based eligibility.

Each camp session offers expert instruction provided by the National Basketball Academy, personalized attention with a coach (no greater than a 1:10 coach-to-camper ratio), drills, skill development, live games, complimentary Gatorade and an individual player evaluation. All participants will receive an official camp T-shirt, full-size Magic basketball, commemorative certificate of achievement and a ticket to a 2014-15 Orlando Magic home game in the Amway Center. In addition, all campers will have the opportunity to participate in contests and games and each camp features an awards ceremony. Guest appearances by current and former Magic players (subject to availability) are also a highlight at select sessions.
