Magic fans are encouraged to drop off candy on Monday October 29 at the Amway Center or during Fan Fest on our Seats for Soldiers night on November 4. The Orlando Magic is supporting “Operation Gratitude Orlando,” a program designed to collect candy and gifts for American servicemen and women who are currently deployed in the hostile and remote regions of Iraq and Afghanistan. The candy is used as a tool to foster community relations with local village children, and is also given to them as “currency” in exchange for information that frequently saves the lives of U.S. Soldiers.
