(ORLANDO, Fla., August 1, 2013) – The wait is over for Orlando Magic fans looking for the latest insight on their hometown team. On Sunday, August 4 at 10 p.m. EST, FOX Sports Florida will premiere the ‘Orlando Magic Mid-Summer Special.’
Hosted by Paul Kennedy, this 30-minute episode will relive memorable Magic moments as the franchise gears up to celebrate its 25th Anniversary season of Magic basketball.
Viewers will have a chance to hear from Magic players as they discuss their plans on improving their skills and teamwork throughout the summer months. Additionally, play-by-play announcer David Steele will sit down with Magic General Manager Rob Hennigan as he shares his thoughts on the current state of the franchise.
Sideline reporter Dante Marchitelli will chat with Orlando’s 2nd overall draft pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, Victor Oladipo, as he learns more about the charismatic young player from Indiana University and Oladipo’s initial thoughts on coming to The City Beautiful. Also featured in this episode is Magic color analyst Jeff Turner, as he joins Paul to discuss his new role in the broadcast, as well as his thoughts on the future of the team.
