#1 James Harden

Cohen’s Analysis: He has some significant defensive limitations and head coach Kevin McHale has already implemented strategies that don’t rely on his franchise player to make a huge impact on that side of the floor, but Harden is a complete offensive talent and arguably the most aggressive and elusive scorer in the NBA.

He can beat you in transition with his acrobatic-type maneuvering to the basket, he can rattle opponents with his range and step-back motion to hit long distance jumpers and most importantly, he gets to the free throw line. Harden is third, behind former teammate Kevin Durant and current teammate Dwight Howard, at foul shot attempts per game.
