- Zach Collins arguably has the best post-up game among all the centers in this draft. He has good footwork, a variety of moves on the low block and a nice touch near the basket. While he will need to add more bulk to get deeper post position in the NBA, Collins does a good job sealing off defenders and staying patient when he has his back to the hoop.
- Collins is a versatile offensive player. He’s athletic and agile enough to play in a fast-paced offense (good in transition). He’s comfortable facing up and knocking down a mid-range jumper (also capable of drilling threes). He has a post-up game and he’s solid in the pick-and-roll (good lob target).
- Collins is a good shot blocker. He has great timing when he contests shots near the rim. Collins comes up with a lot of blocks in transition (chases down opponents and swats shots away from behind).
