KEY STAT OF THE GAME

When Orlando scored 129 points on Friday at home against the Knicks and just 90 on the road against the Raptors on Sunday, it summed up the difference between the team when playing at the Amway Center and when being away.

Orlando entered Sunday’s game averaging just 88.1 points per game during its previous 14 losses on the road. They didn’t top 88 points on Sunday until the final seconds when Victor Oladipo converted a layup.

For the season, Orlando is a very respectable 14-15 at the Amway Center. In those 29 games, they have averaged 101 points a game while shooting 46.2 percent from the floor and 36.7 percent from the 3-point line.

For whatever reason, that success doesn’t translate to the road where Orlando is a league-worst 3-26. Prior to Sunday’s game, Orlando averaged just 92 points a game on the road. Also, they were shooting just 42.2 percent from the floor and 33.8 percent from the 3-point stripe in games away from Orlando.

On Sunday in Toronto, Orlando shot just 41.4 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from the 3-point line.
