After the game, one member after another of the Magic marveled at the all-out effort play by O’Quinn that saved the reeling squad and almost directly led to a stirring home win.
``One person stepped up and everyone else just kind of hopped on board after that,’’ Vaughn said of O’Quinn.
Gushed Oladipo: ``It was crazy what Kyle did. He played great today. Absolutely amazing. When he’s blocking shots like that and running the floor and beating everybody else down the floor, it’s crazy energy and we fed off that.’’
Added Harkless: ``That was a great sequence for Kyle. It was great to watch with him blocking shots like that and getting everybody excited. Hopefully he can continue that.’’
O’Quinn’s defensive grit and hustle helped the Magic (14-37) pull off quite a reversal from a week ago when Orlando was embarrassed 103-87 in Detroit and beat up on the glass to the tune of 56-40.
