The Lakers will lose at least 10 more games this season than last after losing Dwight Howard in free agency
Cohen’s Opinion: Unconvinced
When Kobe Bryant returns, he will be as motivated as ever. Though it was just one exhibition game, Pau Gasol and Steve Nash look relatively healthy. And unlike last season, L.A.’s supporting cast is respectable. Chris Kaman and Nick Young were solid acquisitions.
The Lakers went 45-37 last season, which was a major disappointment after their chartbuster summer in 2012. I expect L.A. to finish around the same record and challenge for one of the final playoff spots in the West.
