Brooks Matches Record in Nets Win Over Pacers By Dan SavageJuly 13, 2012 ORLANDO – MarShon Brooks made sure he closed out summer league with a bang.

The Nets shooting guard matched an all-time AirTran Airways Orlando Pro Summer League record with 34 points to lead Brooklyn to a 90-77 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

"You're only as good as your last game," Brooks joked after the contest.

Tornike Shengelia continued his strong showing with 16 points, while Jeff Foote notched 11 points and 11 rebounds.

"I love playing with Toko," Brooks said. "He doesn't take one play off."

Lance Stephenson led the Pacers with 19 points, while Orlando Johnson scored 17.

The contest marked Brooklyn’s first victory of summer league, while Indiana closed out the session with a 2-3 record.
