The Lakers are committed to teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, and the development of fundamental basketball skills to Los Angeles youth. Programs like the Jr. NBA and WNBA, Camp Lakers, and the Fast Breakin’ Lakers Wheelchair basketball team are just some of the athletic programs sponsored by the Los Angeles Lakers.


Camp Lakers 2009
We are excited to announce that our 10th annual summer basketball camp will be held again at the beautiful campus of the University of California-Santa Barbara. Camp Lakers includes five-day/four-night accommodations at the Tropicana Gardens dormitory and world-class instruction from Lakers staff and players.

Lakers/D-Fenders Nights
On certain nights throughout the season, local youth basketball teams are invited to attend both a D-Fenders game and the Lakers game that follows. The teams are treated to prime seats for the D-Fenders game and some lucky team members are invited to participate in on-court contests and halftime scrimmages.

Project Rebound
