The Lakers are committed to teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, and the development of fundamental basketball skills to Los Angeles youth. Programs like the Jr. Lakers, Camp Lakers, and the Fast Breakin' Lakers Wheelchair basketball team are just some of the athletic programs sponsored by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Camp Lakers 2011 Camp Lakers 2011 concluded this July and was another success. The 11th Camp Lakers had some new elements this year, as was held in downtown Los Angeles as a day camp for boys and girls.
