The Sacramento Kings will begin the 2023-24 regular season on the road against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m. (PDT). Next, the Kings return to Golden 1 Center for their home opener against the Golden State Warriors on Friday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. (PDT) in a nationally televised contest on ESPN before facing off with the Los Angeles Lakers in Sacramento on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 6:00 p.m. (PDT).

The Kings will play nine road games in November, including a three-game road trip against the Golden State Warriors (Nov. 1) and two contests against the Houston Rockets (Nov. 4, Nov. 6). Sacramento returns to Golden 1 Center for a three-game homestand to take on the Portland Trail Blazers (Nov. 8), the Oklahoma City Thunder (Nov. 10) in the team’s first in-season tournament contest and the Cleveland Cavaliers (Nov. 13, NBA TV).

The Kings will then embark on a six-game road trip that tips off with two games on ESPN, including matchups against LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers (Nov. 15) and the San Antonio Spurs (Nov. 17) in Sacramento’s second in-season tournament contest. Sacramento finishes the road trip with games against the Dallas Mavericks (Nov. 19) and New Orleans Pelicans (Nov. 20, Nov. 22) and their third in-season tournament game against the Minnesota Timberwolves (Nov. 24). The Kings round out November with an appearance on TNT in their final in-season tournament game at home against the Golden State Warriors (Nov. 28) before taking on the LA Clippers (Nov. 29, NBA TV).

Kings fans will experience several high-caliber matchups at Golden 1 Center in the month of December, including the team’s first meeting against Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and the reigning NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets (Dec. 2, NBA TV). The Kings then take on the Brooklyn Nets (Dec. 11) before traveling to Southern California to take on the LA Clippers (Dec. 12). The Kings return home to kick off a six-game homestand, tying their longest of the season. Sacramento will host the Oklahoma City Thunder (Dec. 14), Utah Jazz (Dec. 16, NBA TV) and Washington Wizards (Dec. 18) before welcoming Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics (Dec. 20, NBA TV) and Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and the Phoenix Suns (Dec. 22). The Kings conclude the homestand on the second night of a back-to-back versus the Minnesota Timberwolves (Dec. 23).

The final road trip of 2023 begins with a matchup in Portland against the Trail Blazers (Dec. 26) followed by a matchup versus the Atlanta Hawks (Dec. 29). Sacramento finishes the year with a New Year’s Eve contest against the Memphis Grizzlies (Dec. 31).

In January, Sacramento starts with four games at home, taking on the Charlotte Hornets (Jan. 2), Orlando Magic (Jan. 3), Toronto Raptors (Jan. 5), and the New Orleans Pelicans (Jan. 7) in a 3 p.m. start. Sacramento then heads out on the road for five games against the Detroit Pistons (Jan. 9), Charlotte Hornets (Jan. 10), Philadelphia 76ers (Jan. 12), Milwaukee Bucks (Jan. 14) and Phoenix Suns (Jan. 16) before returning to Golden 1 Center for matchups against the Indiana Pacers (Jan. 18) and Atlanta Hawks (Jan. 22, NBA TV).

Following the two-game homestand, the Kings end January and begin February with a seven-game road trip, their longest of the season. Sacramento gets the trip underway against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in a nationally televised contest on TNT (Jan. 25). The Kings then make their way to Texas to square off with Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks (Jan. 27) before heading to Memphis for a meeting with the Grizzlies (Jan. 29). Sacramento ends January with a clash in Miami against Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and the Heat (Jan.31). February will begin with back-to-back contests against the Indiana Pacers (Feb. 2) and Chicago Bulls (Feb. 3) with the trip’s final game concluding against the Cleveland Cavaliers (Feb. 5).

Next, the Kings arrive back in Sacramento to play the Detroit Pistons (Feb. 7), and the Denver Nuggets (Feb. 9). Sacramento then heads back on the road for three games before the All-Star break with matchups against the Oklahoma City Thunder (Feb. 11), Phoenix Suns (Feb. 13, TNT) and Denver Nuggets (Feb. 14). The Kings close out February with two home games against the San Antonio Spurs (Feb. 22) and Miami Heat (Feb. 26, NBA TV) and two road outings against the LA Clippers (Feb. 25, ESPN) and the Denver Nuggets (Feb. 28), marking their third game of the month versus the defending champs.

In March, Sacramento will play 11 games at home, which marks the most games at Golden 1 Center in a single month during the 2023-24 season. The Kings take on the Chicago Bulls (Mar. 4) at Golden 1 Center before making their final trip to Los Angeles for a game against the Lakers (March 6). The Kings return to Sacramento to play the San Antonio Spurs (March 7), marking the first game of their second six-game homestand of the season. Sacramento then hosts the Houston Rockets (March 10) and Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and the Milwaukee Bucks (March 12) ahead of the team’s last meeting of the season with the Los Angeles Lakers (March 13, ESPN). The Kings wrap up the homestand with a game against Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle and the New York Knicks (March 16) and a matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies (March 18).

To end the March slate, Sacramento hits the road for three games in four nights with stops at the Toronto Raptors (March 20), Washington Wizards (March 21) and Orlando Magic (March 23). The Kings travel back to Sacramento to face Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers (March 25, NBA TV), and the Dallas Mavericks (March 26, TNT). Sacramento takes on the Dallas Mavericks for a second consecutive contest (March 29, NBA TV) followed by a Sunday matchup versus the Utah Jazz (March 31).

The Kings tip-off April by hosting the LA Clippers (April 2, TNT) to conclude the five-game homestand. &nbsp;Sacramento travels to New York for their final road trip of the season to take on the Knicks (April 4), accompanied by a contest at TD Garden against the Boston Celtics (April 5, NBA TV). The team finishes the road trip with matchups against the Brooklyn Nets (April 7) and Oklahoma City Thunder (April 9) before wrapping up the regular season at home with games against the New Orleans Pelicans (April 11, TNT), Phoenix Suns (April 12, NBA TV) and Portland Trailblazers (April 14).

Kings Announce 2023-24 Regular Season Schedule

The Sacramento Kings will begin the 2022-23 regular season at Golden 1 Center against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. (PDT). Next, the Kings face the LA Clippers on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. (PDT) before visiting the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 5:30 p.m. (PDT).

Five of Sacramento’s first 10 games will be played away from home. The Kings will play four of their games within an eight-day span, traveling to face the Charlotte Hornets (Oct. 31), the Miami Heat (Nov. 2), No. 1 draft-pick Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic (Nov. 5) and the Warriors (Nov. 7).

Kings fans will experience several high-caliber contests during the holiday season, including the team’s trip to TD Garden versus Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics (Nov. 25). Phoenix will make their first appearance of the season in Sacramento on Nov. 28, followed by the Chicago Bulls on Dec. 4.

A matchup against Charlotte (Dec. 19) at Golden 1 Center will kick off the Kings’ six-game homestand, the longest of the season, which features key games against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Dec. 21 and the Utah Jazz on Dec. 30.

In January, Sacramento will host nine games at Golden 1 Center, matching the team’s highest home total per month this season, including matchups with Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks (Jan. 4), the Lakers (Jan. 7), Jabari Smith and the Houston Rockets (Jan. 11 on ESPN), No. 2 draft-pick Chet Holmgren and the Oklahoma City Thunder (Jan. 20), Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers (Jan. 21), Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies (Jan. 23 on NBA TV),&nbsp;and Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors (Jan. 25).&nbsp;

Next, the Kings embark on a seven-game road trip with two games against the Minnesota Timberwolves (Jan. 28 and Jan. 30), followed by the Spurs on Feb. 1, before squaring off against the No. 6 draft-pick Bennedict Mathurin and the Indiana Pacers (Feb. 3). Later that week, the Kings will make their inaugural trip to New Orleans to face off against CJ McCollum, Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and the New Orleans Pelicans (Feb. 5). The Kings then visit Houston for a two-game set against the Rockets (Feb. 6 and Feb. 8), before a back-to-back home stretch against the Dallas Mavericks (Feb. 10 and Feb. 11). The Portland Trail Blazers visit Sacramento for the last home game of the month on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. (PDT).

In March, the Kings will play nine games at home including matchups against the LA Clippers (March 3), Minnesota Timberwolves (March 4), New Orleans (March 6), and New York Knicks (March 9). Sacramento will make their last trip to Phoenix against Chris Paul, Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns on March 11 and then take on Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and the Milwaukee Bucks (March 13). The Kings then embark on a four-game road trip, visiting Chicago (March 15), Brooklyn (March 16), Washington (March 18), and Utah (March 20). To end the March slate, the Kings travel to Portland for a two-game tangle versus the Trail Blazers (March 29 and March 31).

The Kings then host San Antonio on April 2, before traveling to New Orleans (April 4) and Dallas (April 5). Sacramento’s last home game will be played against Golden State (April 7), before wrapping up the regular season in Denver (April 9).&nbsp;

Kings Announce 2022-23 Regular Season Schedule

The Sacramento Kings today announced their four-game 2022-23 preseason schedule, tipping off at Crypto.com Arena against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday, Oct. 3 (7:30 p.m. PDT).&nbsp;

The following week, the Kings face the Portland Trail Blazers at Golden 1 Center on Sunday, Oct. 9 (6 p.m. PDT). Sacramento then travels to Phoenix for its final road game against the Suns on Wednesday, Oct. 12 (7 p.m. PDT) at Footprint Center.

The Kings return home to take on the Los Angeles Lakers at Golden 1 Center on Friday, Oct. 14 (7 p.m. PDT).&nbsp;

Broadcast information for the Kings preseason games will be announced at a later date. Tickets for all Kings home games, including the preseason match ups, will be available this month. After an accelerated offseason, Sactown is set to hit the hardwood in just a matter of weeks, beginning with a four-game preseason.

Following those games, the Kings will embark on their 72-game campaign, with the first half the schedule below:

The remainder of the schedule will be released at a later date, but for now, here are some key facts from our first slew of games:

What better way to get warmed up for a season restart than by facing some of the best teams in both conferences.

Sacramento is set for three scrimmages against the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, and Los Angeles Clippers starting on July 22. The squad will play these contests over the course of six days leading up to the NBA’s reboot of the 2019-20 campaign.

While Sactown returned to practice last week in preparation for the final stretch of the season, the team has not seen true basketball action since early March. This slate of contests against some of the Association’s top teams could be an effective way to knock off some of that rust.

These opponents are considered to be some of the elite squads in the NBA, but Sacramento has seen some success against them during this season.

Against the Heat, the Kings split their two contests with the loss coming in the form of a heartbreaker in overtime. In three matchups with the Clippers, Sacramento has been victorious in two of them, including a 124-103 rout back in January.

Milwaukee is the lone team of the three that the Kings have not picked up a W against in 2019-20.

Following the team’s first practice back together last week, Kings head coach Luke Walton touched on his mindset heading into the bubble in Orlando.

“It’s going to be a challenge for everyone - from the top-seeded teams to the teams like us who are trying to get into that playoff scenario,” said Walton. “The challenge is going to be finding that rhythm again.”

Coach Walton also noted how different teams will have different attitudes during this final portion of the regular season. He recognized that some of the teams that are already locked into a comfortable playoff position may be using these games to get back on track and then peak right at the start of the playoffs. However, his roster will be looking at those eight contests, and even the scrimmages leading up to them, through a different lens.

“We have to find a way to create that chemistry and be peaking from day one. It doesn’t carry over, said Walton. “I know we were playing well towards the end of the season, but for every team it’s starting over.”

Sacramento is traveling to Orlando this week and will continue preparing for the restart along with the other 21 teams involved.

With NBA action just on the horizon, Sactown’s faithful will eagerly await to see how their team handles the hurdles that separate the Kings from a spot in the playoffs.

The Sacramento Kings will host Rookie of the Year finalist Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz in their season and home opener at Golden 1 Center on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m.

The Kings will be featured on national television with a TNT Sports broadcast from Golden 1 Center as Sacramento plays host to the LA Clippers on Thursday, Nov. 29. Sacramento’s early slate includes seven of its first 10 contests on the road before returning to Golden 1 Center for a homestand welcoming LeBron James and the new-look L.A. Lakers on Saturday, Nov. 10. Additional marquee contests during the opening stanza present matchups in Houston against reigning MVP James Harden and the Rockets on Saturday, Nov. 17 and a visit to Golden 1 Center by perennial MVP candidate Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, Nov. 19.

A full helping of noteworthy contests complement the holiday season, beginning with a first installment of the annual northern California I-80 series versus the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors at Oakland on Saturday, Nov. 24, followed by home tilts versus Most Improved Player Award recipient Victor Oladipo and Eastern Conference hopeful Indiana Pacers (Dec. 1). The Kings ring in 2019 with eight of 11 games at home following Christmas, highlighted by clashes with Isaiah Thomas, Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets (Jan. 3) and second stops at Golden 1 by the Lakers (Dec. 27) and Warriors (Jan. 5) before Damian Lilllard, CJ McCollum and the Trail Blazers (Jan. 14) round out the homestand as Sacramento girds itself for a season-long six-game road trip from Jan. 17 thru Jan. 27. The 12-day jaunt yields to the season’s longest homestand upon their return, featuring contests versus 2018 Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and the upstart Philadelphia 76ers (Feb. 2), Rockets (Feb. 6), DeMar Derozan and the Spurs (Feb. 4) a lone visit by the Miami Heat (Feb. 8). The docket goes dark for the annual All-Star break following a matchup with the Nuggets in the Mile High City (Feb. 13).

Sacramento winds down the regular season with a balanced calendar, playing 15 of its remaining 25 contests at Golden 1 Center. Curry, Durant and the Warriors host the first of three post-break road contests for the Kings (Feb. 21), including layovers in Oklahoma City (Feb. 23) and Minnesota (Feb. 25) before a home quartet boasting notable matchups against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks (Feb. 27), an annual cameo by the New York Knicks (Mar. 4) and a brush with Eastern Conference finalist Boston Celtics (Mar. 6). Keynote contests during the stretch run feature a northeast road excursion culminating with stops in Beantown (Mar. 14) and the City of Brotherly Love (Mar. 15) and subsequent west coast trip calling for visits to the Lakers (Mar. 24), New Orleans (Mar. 28) and Houston (Mar. 30). The Kings will host the Pelicans in the regular season home finale (April 7) and conclude the schedule in earnest at Portland three nights later (April 10).

KEY FACTS ABOUT THE SACRAMENTO KINGS 2018-19 SCHEDULE

SACRAMENTO, CA - The Sacramento Kings will host MVP finalist James Harden, nine-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul and the Houston Rockets in their season opener from Golden 1 Center on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m..

For most Kings games this season, tip-off will return to the traditional 7 p.m. start time. The Kings will be featured on national television 12 times during the 2017-18 campaign, highlighted by a TNT Sports broadcast from Golden 1 Center as Sacramento plays host to DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday, Oct. 26. Lonzo Ball and the L.A. Lakers visit on Wednesday, Nov. 22 for the first of three ESPN telecasts originating from Sacramento. The other pair of ESPN matchups from Golden 1 Center include two-time MVP Stephen Curry and four-time scoring leader Kevin Durant as the 2017 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors make the short trip down I-80 on Friday, Feb. 2, and a Pacific Division clash with the Portland Trail Blazers a week later on Friday, Feb. 9. Sacramento plays to a national audience on eight occasions delivered by NBA TV, showcasing home contests versus reigning MVP Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder (Nov. 7), Jimmy Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves (Feb. 26) and an April Fools road installment with Ball and longtime rival Lakers (April 1).

Sacramento will play 20 of its first 33 contests on the road before returning to Golden 1 Center following the holidays. Marquee contests during this opening stanza include matchups against the Washington Wizards led by John Wall and Bradley Beal (Oct. 29), Isaiah Thomas, Gordon Hayward and the Boston Celtics (Nov. 1), Philadelphia 76ers starring No. 1 draft selections Markelle Fultz and Ben Simmons alongside Joel Embiid (Nov. 9), at Golden State Warriors (Nov. 27), a visit to face 4-time NBA MVP and 13-time All-Star LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers (Dec. 6), a rematch with Cousins and Davis in the Big Easy (Dec. 8) and perennial title-contending San Antonio Spurs led by MVP candidate Kawhi Leonard, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and veteran addition Rudy Gay (Dec. 23).

The Kings usher in 2018 with a season-long six games at Golden 1 Center highlighted by dates versus the Cavaliers (Dec. 27), Memphis Grizzlies (Dec. 31), Denver Nuggets (Jan. 6) and Spurs (Jan. 8) before three consecutive games against Los Angeles teams (at Lakers on Jan. 9, home versus the Clippers on Jan. 11 and at the Clippers on Jan. 13) and a Martin Luther King Jr. Day matinee at Oklahoma City (Jan. 15) caps the first half schedule. A 12-day, six-game sojourn to the east coast with notable layovers in Memphis (Jan. 19), Miami (Jan. 25) and New Orleans (Jan. 30) yields to a quartet at Golden 1 Center with a home and home back-to-back set with the Warriors (Feb. 2) and Dallas Mavericks (Feb. 3) proceeded by visits from the Chicago Bulls (Feb. 5) and Pacific Division rival Portland Trail Blazers (Feb. 9). The docket goes dark for the annual All-Star break following a quick three-game road trip punctuated by a Texas two-step at Dallas (Feb. 13) and Houston (Feb. 14).

Sacramento winds down the regular season with a home heavy calendar during the spring months, playing 16 of its remaining 25 contests at Golden 1 Center. Westbrook and Paul George tip-off the post break slate in their second visit (Feb. 22), marking the first of eight home games from Feb. 22—Mar.9, interrupted only by a road contest at Portland (Feb. 27). Keynote matchups include the Lakers (Feb. 24), Pelicans (Mar. 7), at Warriors (Mar. 16), Celtics (Mar. 25) and the regular season’s final meeting versus Golden State (Mar. 31). A four-game trip culminating in San Antonio concludes the road portion of Sacramento’s campaign before returning home, where the regular season ends just as it began with the Kings hosting Houston (April 11).
