SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento Kings today waived guard/forward Lamar Patterson, according to Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Vlade Divac.

Patterson averaged 5.8 points (.455 FG%, .333 3pt%, .917 FT%), 1.8 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game in four preseason contests with Sacramento, including 14 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 3pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, one assist and two steals against Washington on Oct. 15.

Patterson (6-5, 225), registered 2.4 points (.350 FG%, 12-49 3pt, .727 FT%), 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 11.3 minutes per game during his first NBA season with Atlanta in 2015-16, appearing in 35 contests.
