Sacramento Kings Announce Four Additions to Leadership Team

SACRAMENTO, CA – The Sacramento Kings today announced four leadership additions to the business operations staff: Ryan Montoya will serve as senior vice president of strategy, innovation and technology, Randy Koss as senior vice president of real estate development, Ryan Brijs as director of creative services and Allison Yee-Garcia as director of marketing.

Ryan Montoya joins the Kings as senior vice president of strategy, innovation and technology where he will provide direction and manage the implementation of strategic innovation initiatives by the Kings. Prior, Montoya founded a new media strategic firm that provided strategy for professional sports teams and presidential campaigns. Throughout his career, Montoya has advised, invested and served at all levels of early stage Internet companies. He is a graduate of Notre Dame and holds an MA from the University of Denver Korbel School of International Studies.

Randy Koss has been named senior vice president of real estate development where he will oversee real estate asset management, development and finance. Previously, Koss served as the executive director for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds, where he oversaw the fund’s investments and strategic direction. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he served in various capacities at Macerich, including general manager and asset development manager. Koss is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles and holds an MBA at University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

With over 10 years of experience, Ryan Brijs joins the Kings as director of creative services. Ryan will direct and spearhead all creative efforts, including design, writing, photography, illustration and all other projects that shape the Kings brand. Prior, he served as creative director for XanGo where he led creative services and managed long-term strategic planning. Ryan has experience in leading creative teams for both ad agency and in-house design settings. Brijs is a graduate of the University of Utah.

Allison Yee-Garcia has been named director of marketing where she will provide strategy and direction for marketing and drive brand awareness for the Kings. Prior, she served as director of account services with 3fold Communications where she oversaw the execution of projects for all advertising and marketing client accounts. Yee-Garcia also served as chair of the marketing and public relations committee at the Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization (SACTO) from 2011-13. Yee-Garcia is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine.
