Over the past couple of days, some of the biggest names in the NBA have raved about DeMarcus Cousins’ abilities on the floor, gushing about his potential and confirming what most of us have known for a while - DMC deserves to be playing on Sunday night in New York.
But on Friday evening, even before the players took the court for practice, two shared their picks for contest winners throughout the weekend festivities.
Making his pick for MVP of the All-Star game, New Orleans center Anthony Davis chose a player he knows well from their Kentucky roots and Team USA experience – DeMarcus Cousins.
Bleacher Report’s senior writer Howard Beck agrees with Davis, stating DMC could wind up with the MVP trophy when all is said and done.
Fans will have to wait to find out, with tip-off slated for 5:30 PM PST in New York's Madison Square Garden. Stay tuned to see if DMC can walk off the court with the MVP award in hand wearing his No. 15 jersey on the 15th of February in 2015!
