KJZZ TV Special Goes On Road Trip with Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY (March 31, 2015) – KJZZ 14 Television will take basketball fans on the road with unprecedented camera access for its “Utah Jazz Road Trip” special airing at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7. Expanded to one hour, the television show is the last of six unique Jazz basketball programs broadcast only on KJZZ.

The show will be rebroadcast at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 11.

KJZZ broadcasts on channel 14 over the air and for Dish and DirecTV subscribers and on Comcast channels 3 (SD) and 657 (HD).

KJZZ host Steve Brown will narrate a behind-the-scenes look at professional basketball when the Jazz traveled on a four-game East Coast trip to Memphis, Boston, Philadelphia and Brooklyn in early March. The KJZZ cameras were present for bus rides and team meals to practices and postgame speeches.

Previous Jazz shows have featured original and archival footage from training camp, stories of diehard Jazz fans, a profile on Jazz Bear, “Where Are They Now” features on Jazz alumni, and a look at the off-the-court activities of players “doing good” in the community.

The Jazz broadcasting team – featuring Craig Bolerjack, Matt Harpring, Alema Harrington, Thurl Bailey, Phil Johnson, David Locke, Ron Boone and Brown -- has contributed to the series of shows, giving Jazz fans a unique perspective on the team from the court to the community.
