SALT LAKE CITY (March 18, 2015) – The following is a medical update on Utah Jazz guard Elijah Millsap, who was diagnosed with a mild concussion following Monday’s 94-66 victory over Charlotte:
Over the last two days under the care of the Utah Jazz medical staff and official healthcare partner University of Utah Health Care, Millsap has participated in each step of the NBA’s Return-to-Participation Exertion Protocol as part of the NBA’s Concussion Policy. During each step of the process Millsap has remained symptom-free, including after his workouts earlier today. As a result, the Jazz medical staff has cleared Millsap to play in tonight’s game vs. Washington.
