The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has recalled forward Joel Bolomboy from the Salt Lake City Stars, the Jazz’s exclusively owned and operated NBA D-League team. He will re-join the team today in San Francisco.
This marked the fifth assignment this season for Bolomboy (6-9, 235, Weber State). He appeared in two games during this stint with the Stars, scoring 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting, 13 rebounds, one assist and one block on Dec. 16 vs. Rio Grande Valley. The following night, he recorded a season-high 28 points on 10-of-15 from the floor, 19 rebounds, six blocks, two assists and two steals against the Vipers on Dec. 17.
