About Last Night - Jazz Beat Raptors

Dunk? What dunk?

We seem to recall one dunk that had everyone talking, but for now it seems to have slipped our mind. … Still, Rudy Gobert got on Twitter after the game and had some fun with it, giving us one of the greatest hashtags to date.

Trevor Booker will beat you in H-O-R-S-E

Trevor Booker seems to have a knack for making tricky shots (as we pointed out in our last post) and last night he didn’t disappoint. Using a mop, he managed to tip the ball off the shot clock and in for a bucket. The points didn’t count (boo!), but Booker would be a welcome addition to all future skills challenges.

The trick shots, continued

It’s not every day you see fans hit half-court shots, but this family gave it their all and ended up $5,000 richer for it.

Big, if true

Rudy Gobert is tall, and thanks to some creativity you now have the opportunity to measure yourself next to the big man. Well, not HIM exactly, but this very real life-size image of Gobert on Level 5 of Vivint Smart Home Arena. Fans had a blast sizing themselves up next to the big man, so be sure to do the same next time you come to a game.

This is a team that gets along

Looking ahead

The Utah Jazz now sit in sixth place in the Western Conference standings and will look to retain their consistency heading into a tough stretch. There are currently five teams above Utah in the West, with the Jazz set to play four of them within the next 11 days. The Mavericks and Clippers will be away games, with the Warriors and Thunder rolling into Salt Lake City beginning Monday next week. This will be an exciting test to see our guys against the elite. We’ve done the tough work early facing the toughest Eastern Conference teams on the road, and with the Jazz learning how to win in back-to-back tight games, we could be in for some fun.
