Jazz to Unveil New Uniforms at Public Fan FestAl Jefferson, C.J. Miles, Paul Millsap and Ronnie Price to unveil new look.

SALT LAKE CITY (August 11, 2010) – Utah Jazz president Randy Rigby announced today the Jazz will unveil the team’s new uniforms at a public fan fest to be held on the southeast plaza outside EnergySolutions Arena on Monday, August 16 at 7 p.m. New Jazz center Al Jefferson along with C.J. Miles, Paul Millsap and Ronnie Price will be on hand to debut the jerseys during a fashion show which will also feature new attire from Fanzz that will be on sale the same day. In addition to Jefferson’s first public appearance in Utah, Jazz great Darrell Griffith will be on hand to sign autographs.

"After getting tremendous feedback from our fans following the release of our new colors and logo variations, we wanted to include the community when we unveiled the new uniforms," said Rigby. "A fan fest will be a terrific way to wrap up the summer and thank our fans for all of their loyalty. We’re looking forward to bringing a significant piece of our history back with Darrell Griffith to help take part in the event as well as bridging the bright future of our franchise with Al, C.J., Paul and Ronnie."

Television voice of the Jazz Craig Bolerjack will emcee the fan fest which will include the Nu Skin Jazz Dancers, Jazz Bear and a live band as well as food available for purchase, ticket sales and merchandise booths. Following the fashion show an arena-sized banner will be unveiled featuring three Jazzmen in the new uniforms. 1320 KFAN will also broadcast live from the event.
