MEMPHIS, September 5, 2012– Memphis Grizzlies Forward-Center Marreese Speights will appear at the first Grizzlies block party of the summer at Olive Branch City Park (8267 Goodman Rd.) as part of the Grizzlies’ 2012 Round Town Tour on Thursday, September 6 from 5-7 p.m. The tour will take place throughout Memphis and the Mid-South during the entire month of September at block parties and festivals to get Grizz Nation excited about the upcoming season.
Speights will attend the event between 5:30-6:30pm.
Grizzlies’ fans of all ages are invited to join Speights, Grizzlies coaches, the Claw Crew, Grizz, the Grizz Girls and Pete Pranica to tip-off the start of the season in a festive setting at the first of five block parties that will be held at a variety of Memphis locations.
Grizzlies’ players and coaches in attendance will join right in the celebration with fans at each block party, allowing Grizzlies faithful to take photos and get autographs from their Grizzlies heroes.
