As part of Pacers Cares and the NBA Home for the Holidays Campaign, on Wednesday, December 21, the Indiana Pacers, in conjunction with Simon Malls, hosted 30 children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Indiana and provided them with a holiday shopping spree.
The event was held at the Greenwood Park Mall from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
$200 Gift Cards for the kids were provided by Simon Malls, Sears and Finish Line. In addition, the children also received an Indiana Pacers Holiday pack which included a sling bag, t-shirt, headband and other assorted items. In addition SEARS provided an additional $10 gift card for each child and Finish Line provided a 25% off discount card.
In conjunction with Simon Malls, dinner was provided by Chick-fil-A and the shopping took place at Sears and Finish Line.
Roy Hibbert, Tyler Hansbrough, Lou Amundson, Dahntay Jones, George Hill, Paul George, and Pacemates Courtney & Sarrah were in attendance.
In addition, each family in attendance received tickets to the Indiana Pacers home opener.
