After Paul George was injured prior to the World Cup of Basketball last summer, Team USA went to Spain to continue their competition.
Before the team left, there was a ceremony where Four-Star General Martin Dempsey, the United States current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, presented the USA team with honorary dog tags. Since Paul was unable to participate in the ceremony, General Dempsey will present Paul with his honorary dog tags on April 5 before the game.
