The Indiana Pacers have known the “who”. Now, they know the “when”. The NBA announced the first- round playoff schedule Wednesday evening and the Pacers will open up their first postseason since the 2005-06 campaign on Saturday afternoon in Chicago vs. the Bulls at 1:00 p.m. (noon, Central Time). The game will be broadcast nationally by ESPN and heard locally on WIBC 93.1 radio. It will be the first game of the 2011 postseason for the NBA.
Following Saturday’s contest, the Pacers will remain in Chicago for Game 2, to be played Monday, April 18 at 9:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast nationally by TNT and heard locally on WIBC 93.1 radio.
The Pacers will then return home to Conseco Fieldhouse for games 3 and 4 of the series Thursday, April 21 and Saturday, April 23.
If needed, Game 5 will be in Chicago Tuesday, April 26; Game 6 will be Thursday, April 28 in Indianapolis; and Game 7 will be in Chicago Saturday, April 30.

The Pacers have planned many activities and events around the excitement of the postseason beginning with a Pacers Playoffs pep rally this Friday at Circle Centre Mall from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pacers playoff tickets can be purchased at Pacers.com, the Conseco Fieldhouse Box Office, Ticketmaster outlets or by phone (800-462-2849).
