Lee Eddins, the sick boy who was a big fan of Pacers center Roy Hibbert, passed away just before Roy's scheduled visit with him yesterday.

Eddins, just 12 years old, died from Leukemia just a couple months after a bone marrow transplant in June didn't take hold. He had expressed a desire to meet either championship boxer Floyd Mayweather or Pacers center Roy Hibbert.

Hibbert expressed deep regret via twitter, stating, "On my way to Sacramento. I'm am heart broken today. I won't be able to meet my lil guy Lee but I will be there for his parents and family."
