INDIANAPOLIS – For over 100 years on Feb. 2 in tiny Punxsutawney, Pa., the world has watched to see if Phil the Groundhog would see his shadow. If he did it would result in an additional six weeks of winter weather! Well, in Indiana of course there is a basketball theme. So, on Feb. 1, Ballhog Day, if Pacers mascot Boomer sees HIS shadow, good things are in store for Pacers fans.
If Boomer sees his shadow, Pacers fans can get select tickets ranging from $6 to $60 for six home games scheduled over the next six weeks. And, if he doesn't see his shadow, Pacers fans can get the same offer for home games scheduled over the next two weeks.
On Friday, Feb. 1 at 9:00 a.m., Boomer will wake up and immediately step outside Bankers Life Fieldhouse. A photo gallery will be posted at Pacers.com/ballhog shortly after he returns. If Boomer sees his shadow, Pacers fans can purchase tickets at the special Ballhog Day prices for any of the following games: Fri., Feb. 8 vs. Toronto; Mon. Feb. 11 vs. Brooklyn; Fri., Feb. 22 vs. Detroit; Tues., Feb. 26 vs. Golden State; Wed., March 6 vs. Boston; or Wed., March 13 vs. Minnesota.
Select tickets in the Balcony Level will be available at $6 and select tickets in the Lower Level will be available at $60. That is a savings of up to 54%! The offer will end on Sunday, Feb. 3, at 10:00 a.m. or when tickets allocated to his promotion are no longer available, whichever comes first.
