FOX Sports Indiana Presents Zero Fees Until 2014

Official Release

December 4, 2013

Until 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31, pay zero online purchase fees on all tickets for all home games.

INDIANAPOLIS – Television ratings for the Indiana Pacers are skyrocketing up and online purchase fees for tickets to Pacers games are going down … to zero. FOX Sports Indiana has a hand in both.

As the team charged out of the gate to a franchise-best record, ratings of FOX Sports Indiana game telecasts in November soared to a 113 percent increase over a year ago. That is the team’s highest opening month since 2005 and the increase is the largest in the NBA this season. Overall, the Pacers’ local television ratings ranked fourth in the NBA, up from 13th at the end of last season.

In addition, the Nov. 27 game at Charlotte (6.45) was the highest-rated regular season game on FOX Sports Indiana since April 20, 2005 (6.52, season finale, vs. Chicago). Overall, Pacers telecasts on FOX Sports Indiana are averaging a 4.1 household rating in the Indianapolis market, according to Nielsen Media Research.

But to further entice faithful television viewers to also experience the excitement of a Pacers’ game in Bankers Life Fieldhouse, FOX Sports Indiana announced today it is presenting Zero Fees until 2014.

That means Pacers fans will pay zero online fees when buying tickets this month at Pacers.com/ZeroFees for all remaining 2013-14 home games in Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The promotion starts with the Dec. 10 game against LeBron James and the Miami Heat through the April 13 game against Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. In total, fans have access to 32 home games scheduled over five months.

"The Pacers are off to a tremendous start," said Jack Donovan, General Manager and Senior Vice President of FOX Sports Indiana. "Fans are watching in big numbers, and we want to help ensure those fans have the opportunity to experience a Pacers game live this season and pack Bankers Life Fieldhouse."

The Zero Fees promotion goes on sale Monday, Dec. 9, at noon EST at Pacers.com/ZeroFees. The 23-day promotion is valid on all ticket types and offers for any purchase made before 2014.

"FOX Sports Indiana is a fantastic partner of the Pacers," said Rick Fuson, COO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment. "Many fans might think FOX Sports is only focused on TV ratings. Though that is very important and we are ecstatic over the November ratings, they also are dedicated to helping us continue to build a bigger fan base by providing unique opportunities to attend a home game live. The Zero Fees promotion is one example of their commitment to Pacers fans and we are grateful for their support."

At no additional cost, fans can bypass Will Call lines by printing their tickets at home or work via the TicketFast delivery option. Tickets are limited and subject to availability. A 10% Marion County Admissions tax will be added at purchase.
