The Indiana Pacers and Republic Services have teamed up to Go Green!
NBA Green is a league-wide program the NBA has developed to help generate awareness and funds to assist in protecting the environment and promote sustainable practices. Through NBA Green, the league, its teams and players are taking steps to be more environmentally friendly and encourage fans to get involved in local greening initiatives.
During Pacers Go Green week - March 20-26 - the Pacers and their partners from Republic Services will take part in green efforts throughout Central Indiana that include hands-on community service projects, green giveaways and endeavors designed to support environmental organizations and encourage fans to "go green".

Blue & Gold Go Green Twitter Contest
From March 13-20 Pacers fans are encouraged to send their videos to @PacersCares showing what they are doing to live a more green life! Winners will receive tickets to the Pacers vs. Denver Nuggets game on March 24. In addition, winners will also participate in a pregame meet and greet with Pacers rookie Georges Niang.

Volunteers from Pacers Sports & Entertainment, Republic Services, Earth Charter of Indiana and Center for Inquiry #2 will assist Indy Parks with a combination of native shrub and tree planting, invasive control and seed planting.

Go Green Night – Pacers vs. Utah, Bankers Life Fieldhouse
On March, 20 the Pacers will partner with Earth Charter Indiana for Go Green Night. Earth Charter Indiana is a grassroots organization bringing the Earth Charter principles of peace, sustainability and justice to Indiana. Touch a Truck- Pacers vs. Philadelphia, Bankers Life Fieldhouse
4:30 – 6:00 PM
Prior to the Pacers vs. Philadelphia game, fans are invited to visit the Republic Services Go Green Truck in front of Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Fans can "touch a truck" or climb into the cabin to take a photo.
