The Lakers entered the fourth quarter trailing by four, but — thanks largely to a pair of big plays from Kobe Bryant — they finished the night by dispatching Dallas, 109-95.

Bryant provided a dozen points in the final quarter, including on a coast-to-coast layup to increase Los Angeles’ lead to 96-93. He followed by swiping the ball from Nowitzki and providing a put-back hoop to seal it.

Bryant finished with 36 points on 14-of-22 shooting in Dallas, while also providing eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Lamar Odom finished with 15 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists.

Nowitzki kept his team afloat with 25 points and 11 rebounds, though Dallas shot just 36.7 percent.

Nonetheless, the Mavs led by four entering the final quarter before the Lakers scored eight straight to capture the momentum for good.
