You don’t get to 11 wins in a row without a few superstars. Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal were willing to fit that bill in leading the Lakers’ 101-85 win over Houston.

Bryant poured in 31 points while shooting a deadly 13-of-18, and O’Neal provided a plethora of everything. The big man finished his night with 24 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists and five blocks.

The duo immediately let its visitors know they were in for a long night, as they pushed the Lakers to a 30-13 lead by the end of the first quarter.

Though Houston’s Cuttino Mobley countered with 29 points off the bench, the Lakers’ offense was miles ahead.

Though Los Angeles took four fewer shots, it still made a dozen more than the Rockets, who hit just 35.8 percent of their attempts.
