Lakers Sign Thomas Robinson

EL SEGUNDO – The Los Angeles Lakers have signed forward Thomas Robinson, it was announced today by General Manager Mitch Kupchak. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

Drafted with the fifth pick of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, Robinson has played four NBA seasons with the Kings, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, Philadelphia 76ers, and Brooklyn Nets, averaging 4.9 points and 4.8 rebounds in 13.8 minutes per game over 265 contests (11 starts).

The 25-year-old also appeared in 11 postseason games for Portland during the 2013-14 season, averaging 2.9 points and 2.5 rebounds in 11.1 minutes.

The Lakers training camp roster currently stands at 19.
