EL SEGUNDO – The Los Angeles Lakers will open their 2016-17 season at home on October 26 against the Houston Rockets. The team then leaves for a four-game road trip before returning home to face the Golden State Warriors on November 4. The Lakers will then host the Warriors again three weeks later on November 25.
Other home game highlights include the Chicago Bulls November 20, the New York Knicks December 11, the Los Angeles Clippers Christmas night, the Boston Celtics March 3, the Philadelphia 76ers March 12, and the World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers March 19.
The Lakers take their longest road trip of the season, a seven-game, 12-day trip, from December 12-23. They also take a five-game, 10-day trip from February 1-10. The Lakers conclude the season on April 12 with a road game versus the Warriors.
