Antawn Jamison
Lakers Injury Report sponsored by UCLA Health System

The procedure was performed in Los Angeles by hand specialist Dr. Steven Shin of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic. Jamison is expected to make a full recovery by the start of next season.

Jamison, who originally injured the wrist during the second half of a home game against the Washington Wizards on March 22, was diagnosed with a ruptured scapholunate ligament but continued to play despite the injury, appearing in all of the Lakers’ remaining games.

In 76 games (6 starts) this season with the Lakers, Jamison averaged 9.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 21.5 minutes, posted five double-doubles and scored in double-figures 35 times including a season-high 33-point, 12-rebound game November 30 vs. Denver.
