Randle Represents In Drew League Clash of NBA Talent

Often a summer destination for NBA star power, the Drew League had another influx of talent for Sunday’s playoff game between MHP and LAUNFD.

Julius Randle suited up for the former alongside ex-teammate Nick Young and Golden State’s JaVale McGee. On the other end of the floor stood Houston’s James Harden and Bobby Brown, as well as top-ranked high school recruit Marvin Bagley.

From there, he did his work inside the paint, hitting a couple of his patented spin moves, including while swarmed by Harden, Brown and a third defender.

With newly signed Laker Vander Blue sitting courtside, Randle finished the afternoon with 14 points and a swat on Harden.

However, the Rockets’ MVP runner-up left with final bragging rights, as Harden dropped 45 points to lead LAUNFD to a 91-82 victory.
