Lakers Draft Workouts: June 5, 2017

With only 18 days left until the NBA Draft, another host of college prospects put their talents on display at Lakers headquarters on Monday.

T.J. Cline | F | Richmond | 6’9 | 235 | Sr.
The Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, Cline did it all for Richmond ranking second in his conference in assists (5.6) and fifth in both points (18.5) and rebounds (7.8). The son of Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman, Cline’s all-around game also earned him an All-American honorable mention.

“I’ve been around passing my whole life and watched a lot of film,” Cline said. “[Richmond’s] offense does help. We run that Princeton style of offense where the center has the ball at the elbow and can kind of distribute and facilitate from there.”

Jawun Evans | PG | Oklahoma State | 6’1 | 185 | So.
Few players dropped dimes like Evans, who put up the NCAA’s ninth-most assists per game (6.4). The First Team All-Big 12 selection also got it done himself by placing second in his league in scoring (19.2) and third in steals (1.8).

“You just come out here and play ball,” Evans said. “Do what you do best. Just show them what you can do and what you’ve been working on.”

Josh Hart | SG | Villanova | 6’6 | 215 | Sr.
Hart racked up the hardware in his final year, including First Team All-American, Big East Player of the Year and the Julius Erving Award for the nation’s best small forward. He led his conference in scoring (18.7) and finished with the nation’s third-most win shares (7.7) in the season after helping Villanova win the national championship.

“This is the biggest moment of our lives right now,” Hart said. “Even though your legs might be a little tired, heavy, fatigued — it’s the mental aspect of it and you’ve just got to fight through it.”

Roger Moute a Bidias | F | California | 6’6 | 210 | Sr.
Basketball is a family business for Moute a Bidias, who is the brother of LA Clippers forward Luc Mbah a Moute. Moute a Bidias played sparingly in his senior season, averaging 2.8 points on 31.0 percent shooting.

Monte Morris | PG | Iowa State | 6’3 | 174 | Sr.
As mistake-free as it gets, Morris led the entire NCAA in assist-to-turnover ratio for three years, including when he broke his own record as a senior by recording a 5.17 mark. In his 140-game career, the First Team All-Big 12 honoree recorded 768 assists and only 165 turnovers.

Tyler Roberson | SF/PF | Syracuse | 6’8 | 226 | Sr.
During the 2015-16 season, Roberson left a huge mark on the glass by hauling in the nation’s third-most offensive rebounds (150). He averaged 4.1 offensive boards per game that year, but saw his playing time cut down as a senior.
