Young Injures Leg Against Pelicans

UPDATE: An MRI on Wednesday revealed that Nick Young suffered a strained calf muscle in his right leg. He is expected to be out for about two to four weeks.

Nick Young left Tuesday's game against New Orleans after only two minutes due to a right Achilles strain suffered while contesting a layup.

Young will undergo an MRI on Wednesday in Chicago while the Lakers are in town to play the Bulls that same day.

The 31-year-old missed the Lakers' game against Golden State on Friday due to a sprained toe, but returned on Sunday to help the team beat Atlanta with 17 points.

Young is averaging 14.1 points on 45.8 percent shooting for Los Angeles. His 94.1 free throw percentage and 2.7 3-pointers per game rank third and ninth in the NBA, respectively.
