Lakers Enter Tournament Rounds of Summer League

The Lakers have made it three games without a loss at the Las Vegas Summer League, and now the task is to keep it that way through four more contests.

As one of three unbeaten teams left, the Lakers earned a first-round bye into the round of 16, where they will face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. PT.

Should the third-seeded Lakers win, they will advance to Saturday’s quarterfinals, which would be held at 7 p.m. A loss would send them to a consolation game on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

A title run requires the purple and gold to take Thursday’s game, then win on back-to-back-to-back days.

If L.A. reaches the semifinals, its game will be at 5 p.m. on Sunday, while the championship will be held on Monday at 6 p.m. All of the Lakers’ remaining contests will take place at Thomas & Mack Center.

Each Lakers game will be broadcast on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes. Additionally, either ESPN or NBA TV will present the match as well.
