2016 Exit Interviews: Anthony Brown

Anthony Brown's rookie season was cut short in early March, as he missed the final 19 games due to a stress fracture in his foot. Though he showed promise defensively, he struggled to find his shot, averaging 4.0 points in 20.7 minutes, while hitting just 31.0 percent from the field and 28.6 percent on 3-pointers.

On On the stress reaction in his right foot:
Brown:
"I'm about 80 percent. A couple more weeks and I'll be full go."

On On how he has treated his injury:
Brown:
"We've already been pretty conservative with this injury. We've already taken some extra time with (recovering)."

On On Kobe Bryant's last game:
Brown:
"Last night was crazy. It was almost like I was dreaming. ... It kind of validates what I felt about him my entire life."

On his path to recovery:
Brown:
"The biggest thing this year was just staying levelheaded. ... You just need to stay consistent with your mind set."

On what management wants to see from him when he's healthy:
Brown:
"Just continuing to make shots, defend. ... Continue the '3 and D' role."
