Russell Throws First Pitch at Dodger Stadium

D’Angelo Russell has gotten used to tossing a ball in front of about 18,000 people as Ohio State’s point guard at Value City Arena. So the pressure was on when he took the mound on Monday at 56,000-seat Dodger Stadium.

Nonetheless, the Lakers rookie threw a solid first pitch to backup catcher Austin Barnes.

Russell showed up well before the Dodgers took on the San Francisco Giants to get loose in his custom jersey.

Before the game, Russell also met up with left fielder Carl Crawford and T-Pain, who sang the national anthem.
